Pretzel Ring Beer Cheese Dip

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ¼ cups shredded cheddar cheese (reserve ¼ cup for topping)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tbsp. St Elmo Coarse-Cut Horseradish
  • ¼ cup beer (IPA or light beer)
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits
  • Optional: chopped chives and coarse salt for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix the dip: In a bowl, combine 1 cup cheddar cheese, cream cheese, horseradish, beer, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and well blended.
  3. Shape the ring: Cut each biscuit in half and roll into small balls. Arrange the dough balls around the edge of an oven-safe skillet or baking dish, forming a ring.
  4. Add the dip: Spoon the cheese mixture into the center and top with the remaining ¼ cup of cheddar.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until biscuits are golden and the dip is hot and bubbly
  6. Garnish (optional): Sprinkle with chives and coarse salt. Serve warm and enjoy!
