Izzy Steak Burger

Make this Izzy Steak Burger recipe using St. Elmo Steak House Seasoning and Izzy's Sauce for dipping.


Tailgate Tips:
 • Pre-shape and season patties at home, then keep chilled in a cooler.
 • At the game, just toss them on the grill, sauce and serve.

INGREDIENTS
1.5 lb ground beef
4 hamburger buns
St. Elmo Seasoning
Salt and black pepper 
Lettuce 
Tomato
Grilled onions 
Cheese slices (pepper jack cheese or your choice) 
Izzy’s Sauce for dipping
Toppings: lettuce, tomato, grilled onions

INSTRUCTIONS:
Shape the Patties
 • For burgers: make 4 patties (about 6 oz each).
 • For sliders: make 12 small patties (about 2 oz each).

Season
 • Sprinkle both sides with St. Elmo Seasoning, plus a little salt and pepper.

Grill
 • Place patties on a hot grill or flat top.
 • Cook 3–4 minutes per side (a little less for sliders).

Sauce + Cheese
 • Brush with Izzy’s Sauce while cooking.
 • Add cheese slices in the last minute until they melt.

Assemble
 • Toast buns if possible.
 • Layer patties with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and more Izzy’s Sauce.
 • Serve burgers whole or make them sliders for easy tailgate sharing.
