Crispy Shrimp Sliders with St. Elmo Cocktail Sauce

These bite-sized shrimp sliders are perfect for entertaining. They’re a quarter the size of a traditional New Orleans po’ boy, but still deliver all the crunch and bold flavor. The secret? A generous spread of St. Elmo Cocktail Sauce.

Ingredients

For the Shrimp

  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup finely ground cornmeal
  • 1 Tbsp St. Elmo Blackened Seasoning
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails removed
  • Vegetable oil, for shallow frying

For the Sliders

  • 12 slider buns
  • Shredded iceberg lettuce
  • St. Elmo Cocktail Sauce

Directions

1. Bread the Shrimp

Whisk the milk and eggs together. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, and Cajun seasoning; season with salt and pepper. Dip each shrimp into the milk mixture, then coat in the dry mixture.

2. Fry

Heat about 2 inches of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry shrimp until golden and crispy, about 2 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

3. Build the Sliders

Spread St. Elmo Cocktail Sauce on the bottom bun. Add crispy shrimp and shredded lettuce. Top with the remaining bun and serve.
