Ingredients
- ½ cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup finely ground cornmeal
- 1 Tbsp St. Elmo Blackened Seasoning
- Salt & pepper
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails removed
- Vegetable oil, for shallow frying
- 12 slider buns
- Shredded iceberg lettuce
- St. Elmo Tartar Sauce
Directions
- 1. Bread the Shrimp
- Whisk the milk and eggs together. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, and Cajun seasoning; season with salt and pepper. Dip each shrimp into the milk mixture, then coat in the dry mixture.
- 2. Fry
- Heat about 2 inches of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry shrimp until golden and crispy, about 2 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- 3. Build the Sliders
- Spread St. Elmo Tartar Sauce on the bottom bun. Add crispy shrimp and shredded lettuce. Top with the remaining bun and serve.
